FB Wrestling game

Don't know if any of you are interested but the FB wrestling game has been revamped. I'm rocking Novaar on there and I've got him training up as we speak!

Saw your invite. I'll have a go if I can get it to work on the Mac. Some Facebook games don't like OSX.

I got your invite as well. I think I tried the game a while back, but became bored with it very quickly.

It's been revamped. I know what you mean about the old game. I'm giving it a go. I may end up getting bored with it again but I'll give it a pop.

I clicked reversa accidentally instead of pin lol. I don't even know how the reversal thing works.

As far as I can work out you can set yourself in defensive poses and you're then more likely to stop attacks.

I don't even know when I should go for a pin.

It shows up when you get down to 30 but keep an eye on your the momentum. If you are in control then you're more likely to get the pin. So it's a sort of combo of the two, damage and control.

Oh, I see. I thought I had to get health down to 0.

Nah, although you would probably be guranteed the win. The lower the damage the better but each extra shot you're risking a miss. Get training up, too. Some moves have skill requirements so you can only open them as you get more training in.

I'm training like a bitch right now lol.

You do get a few drubbings early on. I know I did!

I still don't really get the way the matches work. I get that you have to choose a move, but don't know when to do a particular move.

Have a look at your profile and then moves. It gives a break down of the moves you have, the ones you can get, etc. Some moves, like the chop or headbutt, are low risk but low damge. Others, like the piledriver are awesome if they come off but cost you if they don't. When you miss you'll lose some momentum. The bigger the move, the bigger the miss, the bigger the loss. So it's best to build some momentum with smaller or medium moves and then hit the bigger ones when you have.

Where does Fatigue come into things?

That one I haven't quite worked out yet. I'd guess that the more fatigued you are the more likely you are to miss or get hurt.

I think that's how the fatigue bar works as well. Then again, I've faced wrestler who've got their fatigue over 200, and still beaten me.

I'm guessing it also has something to do with ability. I've got beat by a few people that are obviously a lot higher level than me!

I just joined a stable named The Black Hand. It's like TXA all over again lol.

lol I haven't joined a stable yet, although I was in one for the last version of the game.

Join the one I'm in. Not sure what benifits I get from being in a stable, but seems like a fun idea.

It used to be that you could do stable v stable challenges. Also you could get people to do run ins to help you, so it was a good thing.

That sounds cool. Can't wait to see how that works.

I know that you can get stuff for your bag of tricks from having training partners, so I expect there will be some benefit

Just got my first ever DQ win!

I looked at it.

Honestly, I wasn't too impressed, personally. But that's probably just me, as i've never been into these types of Facebook-esque flash-like multiplayer community RPG online stat-driven half-text things.

Especially when I noticed that decent customization and things require sinking real life dollars into it, which I just won't do.

Of course, i'm aware it's probably perfectly playable without ever spending a cent, and I can see how it's fun for the more sociable out there, but it's just not for me.

You guys have fun, though.

They've revamped it again, yesterday. Now they have 3-d wrestlers and you actually see your guy do the move. So it's not text. OK, it's no SD V R but I'm enjoying it

I must admit I'm losing interest in it.

I'm having more fun using WWE All Stars to recreate my spin on news events. I have had Barack Obama kicking Donald Trumps ass. Then Obama and Bush teaming up versus Bin Laden and Saddam, and then for domestic affairs, Clegg and Cameron in a "we wasted all that money in a referendum no fucker wanted to vote in!!!" cage match.
