Highly recommend everyone give this a watch, even you guys from the States. Its a sit down interview with three greats of British Wrestling. Mick McManus, Mark "Rollerball" Rocco, and Banger Walsh.
McManus was probably the biggest name in British wrestlign during the 1960s and 1970s. He was very simply a megastar in this country, with even the Queen being a fan. EVERYONE knew Mick. He was a legitimate household name.
Mark Rollerball Rocco is for my money the best wrestler the UK has ever produced, including Dynamite Kid. Mark was not only a star here, but also worked for the WWE (including matches against Hogan) and was a big star in Japan. He was actually the original Black Tiger before Eddie Guerrero took over the role.
A very good interview piece anyway, which fills in a fair bit about how big British Wrestling used to be, and how it worked over here.
