http://www.comedy.co.uk/podcasts/mat_ricardos_london_varieties/The link above is to an episode of a regular podcast done on a British comedy website. The guy regularly interviews all sorts of people about their influences, likes, and dislikes, especially those where there is a link to the British comedians. He's also a wrestling fan, and when the WWE were in the UK the other week, he got to interview William Regal about his career, and about how he takes a lot of influences from British comedians.
Its a fantastic interview - I can't recommend it highly enough. Its sort of a shortened version of the first 2/3 of his book, but he also talks about things he doesn't cover in that, and its WELL worth a listen by everyone. Skip the start - which is other people talking - and crank it up from the 14:10 mark.
A great interview from a genuinely good guy.
