Couple of wrestling movie bits...

I went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes yesterday. Very good film, really enjoyed it. Anyways, there was a trailer for a MMA film, Warrior. It has the man of the moment Tom Hardy (also soon to be stretching his acting jowels in Tinker, Tailor, Soilder, Spy and then going big as Bane in the next Batman movie...) but, also in the trailer, there are a fair number of shots of one Kurt Angle esquire!

Also, watching the tv the other day the Arnie classic Running Man came on. Reminded me how much I like Jesse in that one and Predator. Quality times...

Not exactly a wrestler, but the best thing about that godawful Rollerball movie would have to be Paul Heyman.

He was even the first thing they put in the trailer. lol.

It's really telling when Rebecca Romajn-Stamos and LL Cool J are the stars of the film, but the creator of ECW was the hook they were counting on to get people to watch this shit.

I still haven't seen that. With my taste for bad movies it's a must!

I remember watching Running Man on TV a few years ago. I actually quite liked it and read the book, have you ever read it? It's a far cry from the film but pretty good. Don't think it has any wrestlers in it :p

Myron, if you want a bad movie you really must try to catch that RVD/Batista one I reviewed on here. A whole new level of bad.

It's on the movie channels now! Will have to watch it.

btw, DS, have you seen the new Superman outfit? No pants! They have tweaked it with some weird designs on so it does look more 'alien' to me. Not as far as I know I personally would have liked (I loved the black capeless one!) but I like it.

Ah, now that's a much better picture. I like that, a lot. Much more what I was hoping they'd do (though I'd have gone further). Good stuff.

And yes, I do know where it's from. A mate let me borrow the comic- just can't think of the name of it now!
