WWE have started their traditional post-Wrestlemania clearout. And the first cab off the rank is none other than WWE Tough Enough Winner, "Silent Rage" himself, Andy Levine.

Hardly a shocker that he's been let go as 1) he was really bloody awful, and 2) on the one appearance he did make on RAW, he no-sold a stunner and got ripped to hell backstage for it.

So he's off, and you now have to wonder who else will follow. TBH, there's quite a list of people I'd cut:

Most of the former NXT guys could just sod off. Then add in Tyler Reks, Mason Ryan, Jack Swagger (he's been going nowhere for months) Khali, Yoshi Tatsu (think he has talent, but he's doing nothing with it), Ted Dibiase, the list goes on.

Swagger seemed promising at first but has hit a rut. I'd like Yoshi to stay but get somewhere.

Like you I think Khali should go out the door. He was never very good and his comic value has long since run out.

As we said earlier I hope Kane retires soon. They have wasted the mask return and he's going nowhere. As DS pointed out they won't cut him as they know TNA will come knocking. So I'm hoping he goes of his own free will. I've always liked him so I don't want him to get anymore crap stuff to do.

I would actually say none of the above to the picks you guys have made. (Well, only a few NXT guys, but not all of them.)

Well, i'm no fan of Khali, but I know he'll have a job for life, because he's great PR for the foreign audience in that India region that WWE is constantly trying to win over lately for the launch of their presence over there, now.

If WWE needed to release people I would personally give the boot to the following:

Tyson Kidd, JTG, Sin Cara, Aksana, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Alica Fox, Alex Riley, Camacho, Johnny Curtis, Jinder Mahal, Titus O'Neil, Lord Tensai, and Brodus Clay.

Agree on most of your picks. I wouldn't sack Tensai, but I'd have him go shoot and drop the gimmick. Just come out one week, take the stuff off, and rip a promo on who he really is. Say he lived in Japan for a while and he's going to respect the culture and use the influence, but he doesn't need this dumb gimmick to do it when everyone knows who he is. Then I think he could be an effective big man.

As for Brodus, I still think the gimmick, done right, has legs, but they haven't used it the right way, and it is becoming stale now. I still think he has potential, but he needs refining.

I didn't even mention the Divas, but I'd sack all of them.

The Funkasaurus gimmick might have been decent, but Brodus is absolutely the wrong person to have had it.

I once heard someone say that Percy Watson should have been brought to Raw with this gimmick, and I agree that if Percy Watson was the Funkasaurus, that would have been fantastic and he might have gotten over, and even made more of a name for himself than he was actually allowed to.

But giving the gimmick to Brodus, was just done to make a big fat guy embarass himself in a gimmick that was all wrong for him since day one. Brodus's career though, is pretty much unsalvageable now and forever because of this. That's why at this point, I would release him.

The damage has already been done, as for as much as I HATE TNA with the unholy passion of a thousand burning suns, It's really where Brodus needs to go, to have any sort of a dignified career at this point, because WWE has pretty much wrung all credibility from him, forever as long as he's ever going to be around in the Double E. It's a mercy release. Let him at least go somewhere where he won't be a joke, and in an environment that would take him seriously.

I mean he just tag teamed with a midget playing a leprechaun. So yeah.

As bad as TNA is, they wouldn't make him do that.

Also, I agree about Lord Tensai. Honestly, I just want him to be Albert. And to do exactly what you present. But again, I guess my logic is that if they won't then just fire him.

I also almost said David Otunga. For some god damn reason I'll never understand though, his stupid Lawyer gimmick is getting over with people. It's not over with me. I still see him as the lazy, driftwood, complacent nobody, going nowhere that he was in the Nexus. But I can't ignore that he's getting massively over. Just like John Lauranitis. I think he sucks and needs to go, and not a moment too soon, but obviously he's the ruler of Raw and Smackdown now, so they have plans for him, apparently.

Plans I don't particularly get. But I can't say that either should be released, because obviously you can't fire people that creative is in the middle of doing something major with. I guess.

But JTG. Seriously. If there's any guy whose name you could bring up and get a response, "He still works for WWE?" the first name you think of is........ Sin Cara. But JTG is a very close second.

I totally disagree on Brodus but then I think we have since day one! I also do';t think the damage 'as been done'. Lots of people have started with lame gimmicks but gone a long way - hello Great and Poweful Oz! Wink But I don't even think this is a lame gimmick, just a comedy one. Which I think there needs to be a place for.

Agree that Khali is a great marketing tool but surely there are better wrestlers from India that could do that job?

I do agree on Albert. This whole new gimmick seems uncessary. He's had some success out in Japan, from what I hear, why not build on that? Mention what he's done?

Also agree on Sin Cara but I'd boot Rey out at the same time. Even before the injury I think he was treading water and he's never going to be the same again. So I'd prefer the WWE to sign some new cruisers and have some decent matches for those guys. Sabin, Daniels and Shelly, I'm looking at you!

Curious what you'd do with Kane, Mike, if you think they should keep him...

Well, I do think Kane should stay because he's one of those names that has just become synonymous with the WWE, no matter what bad storyline or booking proposition he's been plopped into.

He, like Undertaker, has earned his status as a WWE for-lifer just by mere legacy of what he's done and done for years.

Even though he's always been massively underused during most of it, and never got either the true title run he deserved, and certainly this recent Orton-Kane thing is the drizzling shits, it's just impossible to imagine the WWE without Kane there in some form.

I do think that with the hype of him returning with the mask, Kane should have immediately started chasing the title. Or at least A title. Perhaps even be where Big Show is now.

But no, Kane's re-debut with the mask, which was massively over, and had wrestling fans marking out "Oh the mask is back, Kane is back in the mask, what will he do??" was instantly derailed when it was apparent what WWE was going to have him do, and what he did do. ............absolutely nothing.

But Kane is better than that, and Kane doesn't deserve this treatment he's getting now.

I totally agree with you on hiw badly he's been treated. That's part of why I want him to go. I hate seeing him given crap story after crap story. Its because I agree with you on him being so much a part of the WWE that I think he should go, rather than be sidelined into stuff that isn't worthy of somebody who has given them so much. He deserves one last run with a belt, US or IC.

I agree with your lifer, in part, but that's what I think the hall of fame is for. I don't personally think people should be kept on after their shelf life just because of how great they have been. I also want to see Taker go. They said themselves itself the end of an era. Well, let it end. Don't drag him back for one match a year. He's still worthy of making that the best on the card but I'd like him to go before it isn't.

I draw a line been respect and nostalgia. The latter, for me, holds back new talent. You could argue that Hogan and co deserve to be lifers because of what they have done. I see him, Flair, etc hanging onto big spots they no longer deserve.

So, yes, Kane is WWE for life but I'd like that to be away from the ring now. But cheers for the comments - I was geuinely curious what you thought Smile

Can I just add here that, previously I have never been a fan of David Otunga. I used to believe that if his wrestling talent was 20% as good as his body, he'd be twice the wrestler he actually was. However, I think he's come on leaps and bounds of late. He's a lot more confident in the ring, and while he's still no HBK, I think he's competent now. Also think he's doing a lot better in terms of promos.

As far as "lifers" go, I think there is something to be said for nostalgia, when it's used the right way. Spot appearances and returns, mini feuds, and one-off matches like the streak, are fine. Also think certain people deserve to always come back for pops- Hogan being one of them. The problem comes when it's taken too far and is done at the expense of developing new talent, which it too often is. Nostalgia acts shouldn't be your regular main event.

I don't mind Kane, for example, coming back for a bit here, a bit there. I just don't think he's got the legs for it now. With Taker I'm different. It's almost like I want to put him in amber now. The era has done, I want to preserve what he's done. No Foley-esque comebacks, just heading of into the sunset.

I haven't watched a Kane match in years so don't know what he's like now, but if I was him I'd stick around. Just do small feuds and stuff till retirement, keep stacking them P's and working. I'd imagine he'll get the itch if he left, and go TNA, they'd probably bite his arm off.
