I have to say that I like the way that wwe.com sets out it's results now. The casual watchers dream, with a page of blurb and a video intent for the bits.

Nice segment from the 'old masters'. As ever the sparring between Taker and HBK was excellent in my view and it was nicely done with the looks exchanged between Trips and HBK and the formers crotch chop. Still not sure where they will go with the result but they seem to be building the odds being againts Taker.

Also good was the Jericho titan-tron to Punk. Near the knuckle and possibly not for everyone but I think it had spice. Jericho making it personal worked for me, made to give Punk the chance to really explode in coming weeks. A very personal take on the Straighedge bit and it was nice to see Jericho stripping away Punk's 'cocky anti-hero' to get at the man. Building very nicely for me.

Brining Santino into the six-man tag battle is another good way of keeping his current buzz going. It seems as if Mark Henry is also going to get his match at Mania on Ortunga's team. Who do people predict will be the other members of the teams?

The Rock concert was cheesy but it was fun. Cheap pops a plenty - was anybody else cynical in thinking they gave Rock the job of announcing the record so that he'd have a nice pop to build off? But I thought The Rocks songs were cheesily funny. The one about Cena having a wife was especially good!

Miz's fall from grace seems to continue. Not so much his loss but the fact it was described as not so awesome from the Awesome one on wwe.com!

Haven't watched all of RAW yet, so will feed in further thoughts later.

However - Funkasaurus = Win!

It may shock all of you to your very cores, but I once again hated Rock's segment. Same ol' same ol' from catchphrase-spewing Dwayne. The line about Cena having a wife was pretty clever, but the concert really dragged for me and was, as always, filled with juvenile humour that doesn't help the feud at all. That's just how I see it, though. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm sick of Rocky's schtick, 'cause the live crowd obviously adored it, so whatever.

Rest of the show was okay. Cena was good, despite having to go back to his old gimmick. Enjoyed Taker and Shawn's face-off, and I do like the new element they're adding to Jericho and Punk. The deal with Punk's father is true, by the way, so that makes it even better.

I think the Rock bit worked better than I've been reading. I meant to say earlier, though, that I'm not sure if it's progressed anywhere because of it. I think the difference between Taker/Trips and Jericho/Punk and this is that there seems to be more feeling involved with the other two feuds. With this it just seems like a spat.

I personally didn't think Rock's bit was any worse than Cena's bit, as the fact he had to go back to his old gimmick rang a bit stale with me in the same way Rock's bit did for you, I guess. I can definitely say it's the least interesting of the three feuds!

I actually liked both the Rock and Cena bits this week. Cena's worked because it was the Rap .v. Rock thing, and I think Rock came over better in the concert than he has in previous weeks. Yes the humour from both was juvenile and nothing fresh, but on this occasion I think they both got away with it and it was entertaining to watch.

However, did it add anything to the feud or make me more keen to see them go at it, no, not at all. I really think in the next couple of weeks they need to come to at least some form of blows - a teased brawl or something so I get to really buy into their being legitimate heat between them. Because I just don't buy at the moment that they really are keen to kick each other's teeth in, and they ought to be.

Punk and Jericho I really liked, because it finally adds some heat to what was otherwise a feud out of nothing really. Showing someone finally getting to Punk is a good angle, as it allows further depth to his character.

HBK/HHH/Taker is going along nicely. Lots of possible angles there.

BTW, I was left thinking how cool it would be if, at Wrestlemania, the cast of the US version of the stage show "We Will Rock You" came out on stage to sing it on stage as Rock's entrance theme. Add Brian May on stage wailing away during the guitar solo and you'd have a superb entrance.

Jericho has always played the bitter, jealous heel well, this time with added spite. With two very good workers together I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it next week.

To be blatantly honest, I still find myself personally not really wanting to watch any part of Wrestlemania. Or tune back into the WWE, or anything.

The only things i'm enjoying are the smallest little side things going on right now (Santino being a belt holder caused me to at least raise my eyebrow in interest), but possibly even that is a stretch. I feel very meh about the card being put together for it, and even very disinterested in the weekly bits.

I did watch a video with The Rock on the WWE.com website and thought that his Boston History Lesson segment was really great, however.

Still, didn't make me care, though.

But you're still watching? You mention not really wanting to watch and then the fact you're enjoying some bits. So what is it that makes you watch? Just curious!

No, I mean when I say i'm keeping tabs on some bits, I mean that i'm keeping tabs on what i've casually read. A paragraph here and there saying what Dolph Ziggler might have done, who won some of the matches that night, or hearing guys on a wrestling podcast (who I put on when i'm laying down and listening to them talk when I have nothing else to do.) The SNS Radio network and Wrestling News Live, specifically.

Otherwise, mostly from clicking around on WWE.com reading small sections of their results or clicking on a 30 second video. Just boredom on the internet that lead me to vague bits and pieces of wrestling news.

I honestly havn't watched any full episode of Raw or Smackdown or any clip longer than 50 seconds in a long time. At least for 5 weeks. Just no energy invested to even care enough to sit down and look at a whole episode.

It just feels like something I used to be interested in that I feel like at least putting the bare minimum to still kinda, sorta, follow. I don't even read full results. Just curiosity every now and then what happened. Mostly text. I just don't want to be completely out of the loop when I see some of the posts here.

Ah, got you. I was just curious what it was that made you watch it, if you did. My in-built people curiousity if you will!

Yeah. I guess a part of me just feels like if I didn't at least keep tabs on current WWE events in some fashion, then i'd just be out of the loop in conversations, and would be lost when other people talk about the product. Even though currently it's a product I just fell out of love with long ago.
