Taker (may contain spoilers)

First, it's a brave man that shouts you suck at Taker! There's at least one point I thought he was going to go and smash them!

I liked the new cowled coat. Seems certain that he'll go out as Taker now rather than Mark. Esp with the refs to Apocolypse and Trips calling him Deadman. Although the music was a swerve.

I thought it was a very nicely played segment, as you'd expect from those two. A few nicely played barbs. Esp the 'Shawn was always better than you'.

As for the new music, I know some people didn't like it. I heard somebody say he should have come out to Rollin. Now, why you'd wany Limp Bizkey anywhere is beyond me! I also know some people thinks it's 'soft' Metallica. Me, I rather like the song and as I much as I like Taker's music (which there's no certainity he's dropped) I think it fits. I wonder if it means we'll have Motorhead and Metallica at Mania..

Well, with the sinuses and man-flu meaning I got no sleep at all last night, I watched RAW live, so...

The cowled coat look has been used before, but it was a clever way to ensure that we didn't get to see the new haircut, and I always rather liked that "mad monk" look for Taker. In the hood and the MMA gloves, he looks a bad-ass.

The new music was just for the exit though wasn't it? Didn't he still come out to the usual Bongy funeral march? I rather liked it myself.

A good segment, though perhaps could have been a little shorter. I still see Shawn being somehow added to the mix in this. Possibly as the referee. But a Hell in a Cell match is a nice bonus I wasn't expecting.

I see Taker going 20-0, lights go off, ring fills with smoke, he disappears. If HHH ends the streak he will be the most hated man in the history of the business.

BTW, nasty bump for Dolph and Wade Barrett. Looked like Wade's arm was definitely broken.

Looks like Wade has a dislocated elbow. Probably means he's out of Mania!

And I forgot to comment on how much of a shame it is that the WWE decided to take all the wonderful momentum that Santino had from Elimination Chamber, and flush it all straight down the toilet with a 2 minute clean loss to Bryan.

Couldn't remember the hooded top but, on reflection, you're right. They have used it before. Like you say, the combo with the rest of what he was wearing and the Mad Monk bit worked. Also agree that the segment could have lost about 5 mins and not been less for it.

Didn't see the rest of the show or results, just Taker, but if they did that with Santino that's rubbish. They should have used it to give him something a bit more meaty. US title shot, maybe.

The crowds clearly love him and want to see him, so it seemed like an almost deliberate "screw you" to have him squashed by Bryan. I'm sure there was some other Smackdown mid-carder Bryan could have squashed. Santino was already in the battle royal at the end and it ruined the point of his inclusion "Oh, even if he wins the battle royal, Bryan can crush him in 2 minutes at Mania".
