| I'm now wishing WWE would just get rid of them, and stop destroying them like they have been lately. I mean, they can't even be bothered to show the titles changing hands as a match on RAW. Instead, the titles changed hands at some live show that wasn't even televised! What a load of shit! | |

| Not the first time that has happened though. WWE occasionally do a title change at a house show in order to give the impression that "anything can happen at a live event". Tag team, IC, and European belts have all changed hands at non-televised events before now.
However, I agree that the belts have been massively devalued in general. We've been over this before.

| I know we've been over it before, but back then I thought there could be some hope of WWE saving the reputation of the belts. Now though, I think they should just get rid of them. I'd love to see the Light Heavyweight belt return instead, but I doubt that'll ever happen. | |

| They could make a decent cruiserweight division now, but it will never happen.
BTW, have you noticed the subtle language shifts depending on who holds the Smackdown belt? When Big Show or Mark Henry holds its, its described as the World Heavyweight Championship/Title. Now Daniel Bryan has it, because he's not a heavyweight, the commentators tend to describe it simply as The World Title, and him as World Champion. They did the same when Mysterio was champion.

| On RAW they did a recap of what happened between Daniel Bryan, AJ, and Big Show. Michael Cole called Daniel Bryan "The World Heavyweight champion" just before the recap was shown.
Talking about RAW, it was good this week.
HERE COMES THE SPOILERS!
R-Truth was hilarious. WWE have worked wonders with him, and he's now very entertaining on the microphone. The photos of him at Disney Land were great, and the point they made was funny yet well done.
It was a shame to see Zack Rider lose the US title, but it set up his beating from Cena quite well, so I understand why they did it. Seeing Cena go mental and beat the crap out of Jack Swagger was great. I liked this badass Cena. He's embracing the hate, and I like it.
Brodus Clay was once again very entertaining. I want to see him in a more competitive match soon though.
LMFAO at Chris Jericho in the main event! He got the crowd excited about his first match for a while, then he just pissed off to the back. Bloody excellent! Then Foley joined the match, which was just as excellent. SOOOOOOOOCKO!!! I admit, I marked out a bit when he pulled Socko out of his trousers. God knows where Bryan and Mark Henry went, but who cares? It was a mad main event, but I really liked it.
Then Johnny Ace came out and bored everyone to tears, but CM Punk made it all better by verbally assaulting Laurinaitis. I love Punk on the mic, and at RAW he ripped Laurinaitis a new one. Foley then tried having a go, but Laurinaitis laid him out with a microphone shot. Could this be setting up a Laurinaitis vs Foley match somewhere down the line? If it is, I hope it's at a PPV so we can see some brutality.

| Cole also referred to him simply as the World Champion, and to the belt as the World Title, several times during the show. As I say, its something I noticed them doing when Mysterio had the belt, so I'll be interested to see if they do it more often now Bryan has.
Ryder losing the belt like that did feel a bit of anti-climax as it was just to further another story, but I suspect that won't be the end of the tale. I wonder if they might have Ryder subtely blame Cena for him losing the belt (because, Bro, I got beat up by Kane because he was using me to get to you, so, bro, its like, your fault really?) This could in turn lead to Cena snapping down the line and battering Ryder (you know that's coming) One of the few moves that would really get him over as a heel.
Brodus was fantastic. He's having a lot of fun with that gimmick, and I think its great.
I'm loving Johnny Ace in his current role. He's a perfect counterpoint for Punk. No doubt Foley will get into the Rumble after being assaulted by the RAW GM, or else he will make the save to stop Punk being screwed.

| It's all good, though. There's nothing I can do about the gimmick, either way. I just give up and allow people to have their opinions. | |
