CXA Reunion 2012?

Are we going to be having one? I'd be well up for it if we were!

Hmm, not sure. I'd have originally said no, personally, as I always intended the role-play Myron and I wrote which was set towards the end of 2012 to be the final role-play for the character. Seeing him left alone as his son walked out.

However, WWE12 and the CAW creations has got me thinking lately about how I might do Shand's revenge on Novaar and Luke, and we have been kicking some ideas around.

If everyone else was up for doing something set at the very end of 2012, then I might consider it - provided Mr Fox was also up for it.

I'm having some thoughts for a serious storyline about Shane Hunt, which I'd quite like to use if we set up another reunion show.

I'm up for it. Like DS said since the CAWS and the ND have come along it's sparked ideas. So I would be a yes.

I'd have to probably decline any big involvement in it.

However, on another note, I have been trying to get a similar project off the ground lately and post some RP's in the In-Character section, but i'm such a depressed, un-motivated, lazy fuck who has no remaining confidence in myself creatively anymore, that who knows when the hell i'll ever get around to it.

Yeah, blunt I know. but honest. I'm pretty much a burnt out husk, these days.

I love CXA and I would usually love and be honored to take part in it, if I felt like I could do a decent job, but I know already that I probably can't.

I would be more than happy to pay the utmost attention to and read everything that any of you guys work to produce, however.

That having been said, if anyone wants to involve Rocket, any of my characters, or any of my ideas, or anything of that kind, you're more than free to do it.

Just let me approve any major ideas you have or what to do with any of my characters including Rocket, via a PM or something... and I'll most likely sign off on it, or give an optional suggestion maybe.

But yeah, everyone here is welcome to anything I've contributed to our universe over the years, in any part or in whole. And i'll probably even go one step further and support anything you think is a good idea with them. Just lemme know, is all.

It wouldn't be a proper reunion without some involvement from Mike Rocket. Whether you choose to RP or not, I think your character should be a part of the event.

He would be if we did it, as he's part of Shand's Association.

However, Mike, you are not creatively burnt out and incapable. You just set yourself unrealistic goals sometimes, and then get discouraged when you can't complete them. Objectives need to be achievable, otherwise they are of no use to anyone.

If you just concentrated on role-playing like everyone else, and being part of the storyline, and didn't try to squeeze a hundred ideas into one thing, you'd find it a lot easier. So if we do this, I'm going to encourage you to do stuff with Rocket.

Back to the subject though, I really hope Mike does decide to RP as Rocket. I like his RPing style, and what he can do with his characters.

How about a twist this time. We all write for someone else's character? Could be interesting to read Jordan's take on the Reaper, or my take on Rocket, or Chio's take on Myron.

I think Myron should RP as Big D. He already suits that RPing style very well

Thing is, It's not just roleplaying and writing in which I have a massive loss of confidence. For the last year and a half, probably more like the last two years, I've also tried to make myself do an online video review series I wanted to do.

I completly lost all confidence in being able to do it, and stalled for over 18 months, to the point where I got about 5 minutes in and thought what I did was awful.

Likewise I don't think I've really done any art projects in that time. I would even say I've begun to dislike the act of drawing.

I felt an escalating sense of of worthlessness and a complete lack of talent for a long time now, and so many false starts of different bits of ideas and things that came to nothing, and hating things I started to the point of cancelling them outright and never showing anyone what i've had so far.

I almost feel worthless as a human being contributing anything to the point where I've just settled into a defeatist sense of "I wasn't meant to give the world anything. I'll just enjoy my shallow base pursuits of watching movies and playing games until I die, then."

I feel like this is my standard mode these days, and even when I'd like to break out of that and do something, I just don't feel, in the pit of my heart, that I have any real substantial talent to back it up. :/

You can play a part in this. You have no reason to lose confidence in your ability to write. If there's one thing you can do, its spout words. ;0) if it happens, it'll be a collaborative project, so we'll all work together to make sure stuff gets done.

I've been hovering over this discussion for a few days, deciding what I would like to do.

And, having thought about it, I won't be a part of it, not as Rob Arnold anyway. I am planning on writing a few RP's over Christmas, as I never did an aftermath to last year's event. However I don't really feel into doing anything with the character for another show.

That isn't to say I won't still have some form of activity with the show, or a different character. I just have a lot on as of late, and potentially I'll have a lot more on next year, so I don't wish to commit to anything I can't uphold.

Yeah, I'm thinking I might roleplay not as Joxide, I think his story is pretty much told, although I might do one just to see what he's been up to. I dunno, I'll have a think over Christmas

My God, you lot are boring! Forget all the shit you've got on and the problems you've got in your lives, and spend a little time doing something we're all really good at. An hour a day of RPing won't hurt any of you. I've got a full time job and a young child to keep alive, but I'm willing to spare an hour a day for RPing because it'll be an hour where I can kick back and let my creative juices flow. It's something I've always enjoyed doing, and it's good to take some time out to do what you enjoy.

When I kick back and let my juices flow, it's usually on websites like xnxx or pornhub, not CXA, it's usually not for an hour either.

I just had a crazy thought, but it'd never happen. I thought it'd be fun for all us CXA lot to invade an E-fed for Christmas. No idea which E-fed it'd be, but in my head it seemed fun lol.

I'm up for the CXA Christmas party idea. Wheato, kick it off and set the venue, and we can chip in. But make it this Christmas, rather than in the future, so I can put all my characters in it.
