Yep, you all guessed correctly! The first song is Black Stone Cherry, and it's a track off SvR07. The second is obviously Edge's entrance music. Just thought I'd post these, as I'm going to see Alter Bridge live tomorrow and Black Stone Cherry are one of the support bands. It's going to be great!

Someone on my FB said they went to see them in Cardiff last night. Word on the street is they're pretty immense

Saw them in the Manchester M.E.N, and it was a really good gig. Black Stone Cherry were great, and Alter Bridge were even greater. The other band called Theory of a Deadman were good as well. I was right near the front throughout the gig, and my feet still hurt from being trampled.

Nice. I don't have any gigs lined up at the moment. I was thinking on the way into work today I'd like to see the Offspring live they're a good band.

Offspring are brilliant live! I saw them about six years ago in Brixton (I think it was Brixton).

Nice! I've only got 3 of their albums of theirs but they are all immense (Ixnay on the Hombre, Americana & Conspiracy of One) so might give some of the earlier ones a try. They know how to make good songs that's for sure.
How much was it to see them? Can you remember?

I can't remember how much it was to see them. Like I said, it was about six years ago. I've been to a lot of gigs since then.

BTW, I went to a great IPW:UK show last night in Sittingbourne, and they've announced that at the next one in February, they are going to have none other than Dave "Fit" Finlay on the card.
Now I've seen Finlay at a couple of WCW and WWE shows since, but the last time I saw him work an indy show, I think I was about 10.
I'm definitely going to the next one.

That's pretty cool. I bet the crowd is good when they have ex-WWE and ex-WCW wrestlers on the card.

Nice!
I wouldn't mind attending a few of these events, they sound pretty good. Thing is it's a 3 and a half hour drive from me. £56 they want on the train, it's actually cheaper to drive.
The state of public transport is incredible

Worth doing if you could make it for a show. Drag Rob along and split the cost of the petrol.
People do come from all over the place. I was chatting to a girl last night who was over from Germany for the show.

Wow! Someone travelled from another country just to see an Indy wrestling show? That's crazy!

She's a massive fan of Nigel McGuinness and the Young Bucks. It's Nigel's fairwell tour before he retires, and the Bucks have only been to Europe a couple of times, so with both of them on the show, she said she really wanted to come over. She'd made a weekend of it, and was flying back early Monday morning.

It's a shame he's retiring. He's a very good wrestler, and handy on the mic. He's probably doing what's best for him though, and not wrestling until he physically can't do it anymore.
