Matthew spotted this whilst watching the True Story of Wrestlemania special on Sky this morning. I own the Blu-Ray and didn't even spot it myself. So that's a PPV and a TV special I have appeared on now :0)

Me and Rob were on a Velocity taping once when we went to the one in London! It was a crowd pan shot when Matt Hardy came out!

Actually, the chant while we were standing there was "WHAT?" every time the MSG people made any sort of announcement about the crowd moving or the doors opening, or every time the people selling the merchandise shouted "programmes!". In the end, they were going along with it. :0)

The Velocity thing was quite funny. I remember watching RAW and Smackdown so carefully as I thought we may have been on, given our seats. But it was the Velocity taping, that frankly I only had on in the background, where they gave us a bit of TV time.

To be honest I think it came because of the little Hardy mark stood next to us. I was more pleased that Paul Burchill got a run out that day.

I believe he did. Really, we were quite lucky those two days in who we saw. The only one we didn't was Taker, but other than that we saw most of the names you'd wanna see at that time.

Whatever show you go to, its a bit hit and miss and pot luck about who you are going to see and who you aren't. Taker is absent more often than not, but I remember you did OK at that taping.

Still remember being chuffed to bits to see Terry Funk live for the first time at a WCW house show. What a memorable match that was as he attacked Dustin Rhodes with a rubber chicken.

The other bonus is seeing people at small shows. You get an awful lot of good talent in amongst the small indy shows. Guys that go on to the big leagues, or who are on their way down from them. I got to see Bryan Danielson wrestle in a sports hall in Portsmouth, the aforementioned Burchill wrestle in a community centre (also in Portsmouth), and the show I'm going to at the weekend has Nigel McGuinness (Desmond Wolfe) on it.

Yeah, Taker never showed up! The Great Khali was chatting (and I use that in the broadest sense of the term) on the mic, and everyone was chanting for the Undertaker. I tried to start a "Taker Sucks" chant but Rob made me shut up in case I caught a beating.

I swear Terry Funk did that to Rhodes on a Nitro show once? As I recall it was near to Christmas, a guy dressed as Santa came out and started giving presents to the kids in the crowd until Dustin Rhodes came out and started beating on him. Then Santa started fighting back, the fake beard came off and lo and behold it was Terry Funk. Then at some point he started hitting Rhodes with a chicken or a turkey or something.

I think you are probably right, but this was definitely a house show. Sure I've got a report of the show somewhere. Main event featured Lex Luger, Mr Perfect, and (I think) Flair. Sure another match was Vampiro v Jarrett.

Best WCW card I saw though was at the Albert Hall in 1993.
