Haven't watched all of this week's RAW yet, and I'm not usually in favour of these things, but I have to say that the bit on RAW with Beaker and Sheamus was pure genius!

I still need to watch this. I was feeling sick and I slept through it.

But I should check up with it via youtube or something, because I really wanted to see it.

See, I actually enjoy the Muppets, and a BIG fan of the old Muppet Show, and will be seeing this new movie on Thanksgiving weekend.

And with Raw being as terrible as it has been lately, I am all for it. They actually probably saved Raw from being as lame as it has been for weeks now.

I just watched it.

Yes, as I expected a very dull Raw over all, and the Muppets, in-between matches really livened the show up, considerably.

SO much so, in fact, by the end, I was REALLY left wishing that the Muppets would be on Raw EVERY week.

Or at the very least, that the Muppet Show would return on it's own, somehow.

Also, the timing on those sketches were VERY well planned, and brilliantly executed. They really DID remind me of how the classic sketches on The Muppet Show worked, and was VERY reminiscent of how they would interact when Guest Stars used to come on THEIR old show.

Cody Rhodes placing a bag over Kermit's head, the segment with Piggy and Vicki, and ESPECIALLY the segment with Beaker and Seamus were great. Animal as time keeper was just great, and I was very happy to see Statler and Waldorf in the balcony three times.

I think you're being a little harsh on RAW. I thought it was OK this week. The tag match was fine, Dolph and Zack had a good match, and Miz v Cena wasn't bad either. Also started to see some build for Survivor Series.

Plus, CM Punk in a "Big trouble in little China" tribute t-shirt. What's not to like?

Have to say that as much as I usually hate these things, I absolutely loved the Muppet segments. Easily the best host, as the humour just worked with the WWE. The bits with Beaker- both Sheamus and Santino- were especially superb.

Part of the charm is that the Muppet's shtick has always been interacting with unlikely human guests. So it worked well when it comes to wrestling, and was a far better match than most people expected.

The Muppet Show was one of those kinds of things that, if Wrestling was as a big deal during the Muppet Show's original run, I can see the WWF invading THAT show as special guests, to much the same effect.

So I feel it was a good match, it's just that one came to the others home, instead of the other way around.

BTW, speaking of Muppets, I see that Evan Bourne has been suspended for a Wellness violation.

Shame, as Air Boom were gathering momentum, and it looked like they might get a survivor series match going out of the team.

Yes. I saw that on Twitter and left a message on Facebook when I saw it.

What an idiot. I know Kofi's gotta be angry as all hell. Air Boom was his ticket out of the lower mid-card jobber pit, and now that ticket has been ripped up and tossed away, all because of Bourne.

The only saving grace I can see here, is Kofi turning heel, and gaining momentum in the meantime, while Bourne waits to come back and Kofi fueds with him over "walking out on him"

Then again, I'm not sure a Kofi heel turn would work seeing as you've already got the Bitter Angry Black Man Who Feels That Everyone Disrespected Him Heel with R-Truth.

Well, just because he's "suspended" doesn't mean he has to miss TV time. When the storylines call for it, WWE have delayed suspensions to start later, or have suspended the wrestler from house shows, and kept them on TV or PPV.

Yes, but keep in mind how badly Air Boom crushed on Raw.

That was, i'm pretty sure, meant to explain why we won't be seeing them for a while.

TBH, that wasn't how I saw that segment. I saw it as the beginning of putting a team together for SS. Air Boom and Sheamus plus A N Other versus the mid-card heels.
