Update on Barry Windham

following the reports of him having a serious stroke.

His father has spoken to the press now and confirmed that Windham had both a heart attack and some form of a stroke. He's come through the heart attack relatively OK, but the stroke has left him with a lack of control on one side of his body, and its going to be a pretty long road to recovery for him. Apparently, WWE stepped in immediately after it happened and Triple H made personal contact with the family to let them know the company would be picking up all medical bills for as long as it took to get Barry back on his feet. They have paid for limos to transport the family, and for Barry to be flown to a specialist medical centre specialising in stroke treatments.

That's nice of them. They sure do look after their ex employees, huh!

I think they certainly go out of their way in some cases. It's a classy move, no doubt.
