What I love about Hawk's promo's aside from his excellent screaming voice....
He has an intensity, that perhaps matches or exceeds Ultimate Warrior's. He rambles on, but you always got the feeling that Hawk was a frightening, unstable, violent mad man, and was intimidating at the same time that when he spoke, you listened.
For some reason, he had this ability to grab your attention and choke your attention dry until he'd let go of it, gasping for air. It's kind of interesting to look back and see what a presence that one half of a tag-team like this, really had.
Hawk was really something, when it came to promos, I would say.
OH, and that "breaking bones" promo.... it was not only excellent, but superbly chilling! That's main event promo level quality, that one.

I'm actually reading their autobiography at the moment (Well, Animal's really), and he talks about Hawk's promo style. He says he made it his mission to try to be as out there as possible, and actually crack Animal up while he was doing them.
Mind, he also says Hawk was off his head half the time, so he may had no bloody clue what he was saying!
That definitely seems to explain the hamster bit in the first clip...
Although in one of those later clips, Warrior, not to be outdone, positions himself directly in front of the camera with his head pointed straight sideways, and droning over Hawk, chanting "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" LMAO.
I still maintain, though, that the "bone snapping" promo where Hawk recalls delights in the first time he ever heard such a wonderful sound, to be quite chilling and effective, unlike the more silly promos.
That having been said, I actually somewhat miss the era of WWF/E of big, screaming, nonsensical mad-men like lunatics in an asylum, who seem to exist backstage to confuse poor Gene Okerlund to no end.
I wish they could bring back a character of this type to the WWE today. The trick would be making it as much of a homage as it would be a joke character... But I think it could be done, provided it was an amalgamation, and wasn't too centered on just a straight Warrior parody, and was more of an original character in and of itself.
It's also for this reason that even though he was very sub-standard in general, and in the ring, I actually do miss Heidenreich, as he was almost close to this kind of a persona.
I'd just like to see the early 90's, late 80's "intense ranting lunatic" character make a return.
A sort of throwback to not just Warrior, but a little of Warrior, Hawk, Sid, Scott Steiner, Anvil... just the spirit of all these kind of insane ad-lib promo guys, all in one.

The best bit is the first one. You can tell exactly when the interview starts to lose them...round about the hamsters bit! The Warrior one is class. Warrior has no idea which planet he's on!

Awesome! I always loved LOD, so it's good to see a video like this.
