| I see that they did a taping of Jeff Hardy for last weeks TNA show. Jeff is back as a face, admitting (to the crowd at least) that he's hit rock bottom and asking for one more chance. I'd like to say that I want him to do well. I'd like to say that I expect him to. What I will say is that he's lucky he works for TNA and their lack of rules! | |

| TBH, a storyline in which he admits to totally screwing his life up, and being embarrassed at the shambling performances he put in, and which then sees him fight to regain the respect of the fans and fellow wrestlers, is possibly the best angle they can work with Jeff Hardy.
Were it to be done right, the honesty could possibly be the thing to salvage his career. However, what makes me doubtful is three things: 1) Can Jeff be relied upon to remain clean and together enough to do the storyline properly and see it through, bearing in mind he's fucked up every other chance 2) linked to 1, will TNA's lax attitude towards substance abuse by it's talent actually put the likelihood of the angle working in more jeopardy, and 3) even if 1 & 2 come off, can TNA actually be relied upon to write and sell the angle properly, given their previous track record when it comes to angles.

| I totally agree. If this was WWE then it would be backed up with something. It's a very good chance for him to keep clean and make one last go at things. I just worry, like you, that the temptation is going to be around him and he's going to blow it again. I agree too on TNA. They have been as much to blame with a lot of people's issues as the wrestlers themselves, for not keeping a tighter line on their talent. Plus their writing has been patchy at best. | |

| I recently saw an image ad from TNA that was a picture of Jeff, and in big, bold letters, it stated: "JEFF HARDY RETURNS TO IMPACT WRESTLING"
My immediate thought was ".......and 4 people cared."
