Honestly, one problem I have with this.
As you guys know around here, the Custom Music volume was a huge problem for me (It actually made me spend over 12 hours going back in and putting every song back into my computer, redoing the volume, spitting them back out reburning to disc, re-ripping the songs quieter and putting them each back in a new playlist of over 70 or 80 songs)
And I was actually disheartened and slightly insulted when Cory and Tank pretty much, not only blew that question off in this video, said they didn't know if they fixed it yet, but then actually made a side comment that heavily insinuated that it was the players fault for choosing a Heavy Metal song.
That answer really rubbed me the wrong way, insinuating it was just because of the type of music or that it was on our end, and not their absurd game unbalenced audio levels, because I know I actually studied the problem at length in SvR11 while I was fixing it myself, painstakingly, and discovered that the audio levels being read for many things from menus to customs to the volume sliders too were EXTREMELY out of wack with the game and with each other.
I still own the previous game, and these were the exact same playlists I had on that one, which I hadn't changed the prior to playing the new game, and they were absurdly loud in the new game while I hadn't changed a thing from the old game's playslists. To the point where there was awful distortion and speaker blowing clippage like you wouldn't believe.
Also, I had to go into my computer with an audio editor and after 4 failed attempts at altering the song with an audio editing program, lowering the volume low enough to get the songs to work like they had worked before, and then spitting them back onto a disc, I had to actually take the tracks which were at 100% and lower them to an astonishing 20% volume before they didn't nearly blow my speakers anymore.
To hear them talk like they are barely aware of the music, and to insinuate that it's not that big a deal or that "Heavy metal music is loud and it's probably that" kind of felt insulting to me in a way.
That's really the main problem I had with that Q&A, but meh, on the whole it was still insightful, when it came to their production updates.
At least I still like when they communicate to us, and tell us how development is going and what part they're at now, so there's that at least.
Either way, they seriously need to work on fixing their audio levels, because in last years game, it was seriously bad audio volumes.
Even right down to that one instrumental menu track they had being about 5% volume while the other menu music bits were at about 80%, to say nothing of different crowd sounds seriously overpowering others, like those distracting and omnipresent boos from SvR 2011 that makes playing any match with a heel in it, difficult for me to get through.
