Of interest to me: A pair of Angel and Devil wings are in. I can make Julie Yafuda's Apocalypse Rose angel wing entrance attire from her feud with Rocket. Well, aside from the whole them being "drenched in blood" thing, anyway. :P

Also a lot of the parts here are VERY impressive. From what I can tell, almost every single one of these aside from tights are 3D. And of course, tights aren't supposed to be 3D.

Non CAW related thing I was gonna mention also, but I might as well mention here.

I absolutely LOVE that the soundtrack consists entirely of Entrance Themes and a bunch of made-just-for-this-game instrumental music, that sounds like Johnston could have done it. (And in the past i've even made suggestions that he should try making some video game music some day)

No more ungodly annoying and irritating licensed music. Just good, fitting menu music that sounds pretty nice, mixed in with entrance themes in the game.

That's something that guys like me and Chio would like. (I recall a comment from him a while back or something not being a fan of licensed radio mainstream music in these games, either.)

No more licensed music or annoying wailing, emoish crud, with these hammy, melodramatic crappy-ass pop 40 songs with a bunch of douchebags wailing about fake inner turmoil and "no one loves me", or "the beast inside me wants to hurt everyone rargh" crap. :P Finally no more of having to hear this stuff on an endless loop. Just good old menu-ish music.

Loving the audio of this game so far on all these gameplay vids.

I may think that SvR is technically superior to past wrestling games, but they've all had better music than they have in the more recent games. Everything from WWF Attitude, to No Mercy, Smackdown 2, Here Comes The Pain, ect, just had menu-ish music.

You know.. stuff that FEELS like it's supposed to be on a loop, basically. It feels to me like they've gone back to basics here, and I like that.

In past games there always tends to be soundtrack songs that grate on me from repetition to the point where I always find myself mocking the lyrics or kinda singing along with the singer in a puberty cracking voice that I always do when I hear these songs. :b Although one part of me is gonna miss having awful songs to make fun of, the other part of me that has some common sense reminds me that "Oh yeah, awful songs are awful."

I have been hoping for years that Smackdown vs Raw would go back to the days of menu music. I guess i'm just one of those guys that prefers menus that play audio wallpaper rather than mainstream radio shit. So maybe people might disagree with where i'm coming from, but I really hated just about all the "Original" tracks on Smackdown vs Raw for about 5+ years now.

But the music this year? Loving it. This is what I like to hear on my menus. Menu music. Not annoying, not invasive, mockable, hammy, or melodramamtic radio shit. Just some nice, good old audio wallpaper that doesn't get old in 10 minutes.

Yeah, I just always turn menu music off.

I kinda have mixed feelings having watched that video. On the one hand I'm pleased that most of the stuff that was in last year is in again, and I'm pleased some things have been given a graphical polish. There are also some nice new additions. But at the same time I'm disappointed that time and effort has been wasted on stuff like gorilla suits, devil wings, and a belt with a gun- simply because they aren't things you are realistically going to see in wrestling. I'd prefer they added more different tights and bottoms, maybe even some more classic tights from guys gone (Road Dogg or X-PAC tights or something). They'd be much more useful.

Ooh, I like that new feathered robe (does that sound camp?). Changing the colour of individual parts of a costume is really handy. DAVID!!!! I didn't see the horned skulls in front of the flames design for tights... What on Earth are we both going to do now? Lol.

I think not! I was rubbish with the paint tool.

It's really easy to use. Just use the line tool, gather some patience and make lots of little lines, carefully. I've made some really detailed things that way.

I'll use the paint tool at some point to do a few things, like a Trinity logo. However, the Grim Reaper logo that's in will do at first.

I need to fire up SDvsRaw10 soon, so I can remind myself what my main CAWs look like. Then I can plan their new attires.

Yeah, that's pretty much the same reason I went and took photos of them in that one thread from a while back.

So I can remake them, but better.

Like, for one thing the tiger pattern (on red) is an important part of Amy V's outfit and last year I had to make it in paint tool and then apply it on a bunch of things. This year, i'm pretty sure it's one of the patterns to that will make it a lot easier on me.

Also, I'm getting together a big collection of their themes I edited for them before, and new ones for new characters, which I'm sure I'll post as playable embedded files once I get them all rounded up.

Might be worth going through and noting down face and body morphs as well. I know they said body morphing is slightly different this year, but from what I can make out in those CAW videos, a lot of the basic face types and morphs remain the same. So if you want a CAW to look the same, having last years stats is a good place to start.
