Dragons!!!

Dragons! Dirty, great Skyrim dragons! They have announced the date for the next Elder Scrolls game - 11.11.11 - and it's going to be set in Skyrim, home of the Nords (thinking Norseman...). The trailer is on youtube. Only a minute but what the Oblivion gates were to Oblivion it appears dragons will be to the next one...

...the words 'can not wait' do not even begin to scratch the surface...did I mention it had dragons in? And the ability to be an elf? *faints*

Sounds delightful. I never did complete Oblivion. I got a fair few hours into it, but just stopped playing one day. Maybe this new game will get me back into the series.

I just don't have the patience for RPG games. I can spend hours tinkering with stuff on a racing game or on something like Smackdown, but I get bored to tears endlessly wandering around tying to solve puzzles or collect the final magic gem that opens the gates of Araggonnoreha.

A mutual friend of Myron and I lent me Fable on the XBox, and I couldn't get past the first mission where you have to get together a birthday present for someone. I just couldn't be arsed.

I'm the opposite. Driving games bore me, especially ones where you have to tweak your car and all that. RPG games though, I love. I like exploring the environment, and finding new bits of the game that aren't part of the main story.

I'm the same. Driving games I just don't play. I'm also not a great fan of playing war games with modern day soliders, either. But RPGs I love. But it's horses for courses.
