What Legend Entrance would you most like to have?

Gangrel for me. Would love to have that option of rising from below the stage

I'm with Dave on this one. It's an entrance Dominus adopted, and I always make him.

I'm going with Sting's drop from the ceiling, but with this I would like a spot light to shine on me as I'm coming down. Or something extra to it to make it cooler.

With the whole Owen Hart thing, truth be told that is the last entrance you'll ever see in a WWE game. But yes it would be cool.

I'm rather hoping Sting doesn't re-sign with TNA next year so that he can finally accept his Hall of Fame induction and we get a decent 3 disc set of his matches. Just wish someone had filmed the world title match between him and Rick Rude that I saw on a WCW tour in (I think) 1993. That was an awesome match. Sting deserves better than working for TNA.

I would like to see Sting wrestle on a WWE show. To the best of my knowledge he has only worked on one show for McMahon, and that was the final episode of Nitro. I think it would be good for him to have a Wrestlemania moment. Of course the dream match is a showdown with the Undertaker, but I doubt that would happen. No point bringing Sting in to lose to Taker, and no point having Taker job to him.

He definitely deserves a Hall of Fame spot, and I'm sure Vince would have him in like a shot, but a Wrestlemania match would be excellent.

How about a proper feud between Undertaker and Sting? Not sure what the feud would be about, but the matches and promos would be good.

Sting's biggest, and most constant criticism of the WWE for the longest time and in the past was that the content was too offensive and was in bad taste for him (The Attitude era).

But he also holds extreme amounts of mistrust for Vince McMahon, as well. He's gone on record as saying he would never work there. Particularly in how he hasn't gotten over how the WCW talent was assimilated to the WWE only to be publicly humiliated.

But now that Vince McMahon has a bit less involvement directly with things that go on, instead relying more on a team he presides over to run the programming and also with the child-safe PG WWE Kids era being what it is, I sometimes wonder if Sting's opinion may have changed somehow.

But then again, I'm sure that knowing Borden, his mistrust is absolutely justified and still there. Judging by his opinion of what WWE couldn't help but do with their "WCWECW Alliance" angle, which he is still pretty angry about, how all of the talent was brought in only to be humiliated, I think that he still believes they will do that to him.

So, yeah. I still think there's a very small chance. There are some guys that, even if they mistrust the WWE still are easily lured in my the money. Sting has made it clear that he's not one of those guys and his pride comes first.

Oh right. I guess you meant "would I like it?" and not "Do I think it's gonna happen?"

Yeah, I guess it'd be ok. But I haven't been a big Sting fan since the nWo vs WCW days. I think he's ok now still, but nowhere near as good or as interesting as a persona as he was then. (And this is coming from someone who first got into wrestling BECAUSE of Sting)

But then again, with TNA being generally torturous to watch, I guess i'd like it because then i'd actually be seeing him work on a program that I can at least stomach (even if it's not that much better) instead of ignoring him along with the bad product he's a part of.

Although it's not like they can build a time machine and I can see Sting in his prime in the WWE, or even see the ECW guys that I liked, when they were actually in good enough shape to be entertaining either, so...

Eh, honestly.. I really dunno. I think i'd like seeing Sting in WWE, but I also think i'd get tired of seeing him real quick.

Like Shand, I'm gonna have to go and say... maybe a surprise appearance at Wrestlemania. That'd be cool. But aside from that, a long time Sting contractually in the WWE so he can be another of what Bret Hart currently is? Nah, not really.

You're right that he's gone on record opposing the WWE's stance during the attitude era, but that is pretty much behind them now. Look who the WWE poster boy is these days - the kid friendly John Cena, not the beer swilling middle finger raising Austin. Plus, when you look at some of the angles and things TNA has done recently (The Orlando Jordan thing for example) it seems like Sting perhaps doesn't have quite the moral compass he once did. I think he's also seen how Shawn Michaels has been able to work with the company and yet not compromise his beliefs.

I think deep down Borden knows that Vince McMahon would genuinely like to induct him into the Hall of Fame, and make a big deal of it. Sting could basically dictate the terms of his involvement, and the degree to which he is a part of any storylines and angles. He must also know that when it comes to really making someone seem a big deal and getting them over, there is no-one out there who can touch the WWE. With the weight of the E behind it, they could make Sting look like a God, and regardless of what he may say, Borden does have an ego. As for the misuse of WCW talent, we all know that was a hideous screw up on the WWE's part, but it was 8 or so years ago.

Even one of the most loudmouth critics of all that, Bill Goldberg, has signed a WWE legends deal recently and is strongly rumoured to be joining the Hall of Fame next year. Time mends a lot of fences. I honestly don't think Sting would be as opposed to the idea of a WWE appearance now as he might have been a few years back.

As for a feud, that will depend. You're quite right to say Sting is not where he was several years ago in terms of conditioning or ability. But he doesn't need to be. You mention Bret, but look how incredibly over the WWE managed to make him at Summerslam by having people bump for a simple moveset. Its not about the moves, its about the way the moves are put over, and frankly no-one can touch the WWE's production on that score. He could work a simple match with Cena/HHH/Taker/ whoever and at Wrestlemania it would look like a 5 star classic. I give you Rock/Hogan and WM X8 as evidence of that.
