REALLY starting to appreciate the way Universe works.

Rob Arnold at Night of Champions loses in a multi-man IC title match to lose his title,meanwhile, out of nowhere David Shand wins the Heavyweight Title. Red rag to a bull ensues, and to get a certain Shand's attention, Arnold goes after Myron, and come Summerslam, despite Shand's best efforts, Arnold beats Myron in a ladder match. To celebrate the win, Rob decides tomassacre Fox off the stretcher and give Shand something to think about before his Inferno Match defence against Rey Mysterio.

So that's whats happening with me, Steve Awesome is IC Champ, things are ticking over nicely. What about all of you?

I've just rejigged mine, so its still working itself out, but there is a definite feud developing between Myron Fox and Dolph Ziggler (I kept Ziggler and Miz on Smackdown) and between the Cyde Clan (Homer and Reggie) and the team of Lone Wolf and Mike Rocket. Homer interfered in a match between Rocket and Delirious last week, and now a match between Rocket and Homer is set for Smackdown this week. Both teams are looking toward tag gold.

Having lost the IC belt through a management decision to pass it to Mr Perfect, Out Cold is now pursuing Reaper for the World title. He earned a win over Paul James and El Generico, but needs to get past Fireball, who is the number 2 contender as we head toward Extreme Rules. With Reaper taking the decision to partner Fox as a tag team over his younger brother, does this spell trouble for the Trinity?

Do you pair just play as the one wrestler in WWE Universe mode, or do you play as several?

I know in my Universe, i play all of my guys unless I deliberately want them to lose to hype it up a bit

I let Universe do a LOT of the booking. Shand turning up in the Championship scramble was VERY random, but also a bonus because he won it so I could do some plans there. However there is a lot I will do myself, the storyline with the Trinity and the Brotherhood I'm very hands on with. After I run the angle (I'm approaching survivor series and plan to run it out probably to Wrestlemania, ending it with possibly a TOI match or something just as crazy! By the way David, can you refresh me on those rules?) I plan on doing something like David, getting all CAWS onto SD, along with some other worthwhile guys, and have our own show so to speak, I think then I'll be even more hands on.

I let the AI book most of the matches unless I want to push a certain person, in which case I'll swap guys around to make sure they get airtime. I then either decide who I want to win the match and play as them, or sometimes flip a coin to decide the winner and then play the match as the winner of the coin toss.

TOI Rules

First 30 minutes - MIND - Conventional rules apply. DQs, countouts, submissions, pins, KOs, etc all count. This is about testing strategy. Do you go for quick pins or pace yourself, do you target a body part, do you attempt to beat your opponent down.

2nd 30 minutes - BODY - With the lactic acid building and the match starting to take its toll, now only submissions will count. This third is about torturing your opponent's body, wearing them down, breaking them down until they are forced to submit. Its also about preserving your own body and avoiding too much damage.

Final 30 minutes - SOUL - Now after an hour of torture the match becomes purely about how much you want it. What's deep down in your soul, your core. No rules, anything goes, falls count anywhere. The one who survives will be the one who ignores the pain in the body, the torture in the mind, and just fights with the spirit in his soul.

Man. I can hardly wait to get started on Universe from the sound of it.

Slowly, but surely, all the CAWs I downloaded from you guys, and the ones i'm making are getting set up. It's getting there, and I believe that i'm a whole third of the way through all the work to be done before I can start proper, now.

Hearing you guys talk about how this mode works, I can tell it's going to be a lot of fun.
