I always liked that Smackdown arena.

Me too.


For some reason, and I'm not entirely sure why, but this arena in particular, always reminds me of old wrestling games.

It's probably because games like PS1's Smackdown and Smackdown 2 had all their menus, and graphics based entirely around that "blue matrix-y" look, and I always just thought it was cool as hell.

And I spent so much time playing all those games, that for some reason, this arena to me, is more synonmous with video games. Although, I also distinctly remember all the great broadcasted Smackdown moments on TV, too. But I just can't not look at the Smackdown ovaltron stage and think "This is like the video games!"

I love this music from this game. It's also permanently burned into my brain.
