| I watched this film a few months ago.
It seems like ultimate win: Quentin Tarantino & George Clooney as escapee bank robbers driving around Texas trying to get to Mexico. It's a good solid film, the first half anyway. After the insane plot twist I thought it got kinda lame. I'd have liked to see the main storyline be finished instead of it branch off into obscurity.
Brilliant soundtrack though!

| Somewhat opposite for me. I don't like Tarantino normally. Too much trying to be hip, taking other people's ideas and doing homages and just doesn't work for me. Clooney I also find very one dimensional (and don't get me started on Batman and Robin). But I really like Dusk til dawn. The first half is OK but the second half is much better. The thing is that there isn't a main storyline, at least not a convetional one. The idea is that your set for another criminal movie and then it takes a detour. So, like I say, pretty opposite! | |

| I really like From Dusk Till Dawn. What I don't like are the sequels. They are bad, just plain bad. | |

| I also quite like Dusk Till Dawn.
Tarrantino I have really fallen away from the more films he has made. At the time I loved Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, and I liked DTD, but then I didn't like Jackie Brown and I walked out of Kill Bill after 20 minutes. He's done nothing since to make me change my mind that he's a delusional video store clerk who got lucky by copying large chunks of everyone else's movies, and liberally sprinkling with cliches.
I went back and watched both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction again recently and they do not hold up well. There are gaping holes in both movies and the script which seemed fresh at the time really seems so hackneyed now.
The only other movie he's had any involvement with that I still really like is True Romance.

| I heard the sequels are bad. You know that if it's got a sub-title and features none of the original cast it's gonna be pretty poor! According to Wikipedia they also made a PC game featuring Seth Gecko (Clooney) escaping from prison after being convicted for the nightclub murders. Bet that's poor too!
I like Harvey Keitel in this film too, a far cry from Mr. White or Winston Wolf!
Gaping holes in Pulp Fiction!? :O SRSLY????

| I always found PF to be a bunch of hipsters with a lot to say but nothing much happening. At least not that interests me. I liked it more than RD, mind. But that's just my personal view.
True Romance is an excellent film though.

| I like True Romance too, quality film. Christopher Walken in any film usually makes it worth watching. | |
